Civil Engineer
Site Technician and Trusted Partner
The successful candidate has work experience on construction sites and in the laboratory. The candidate also possesses strong leadership skills and good communication abilities. A minimum of five years of experience in geotechnical engineering is essential, as well as a solid foundation in soil mechanics and materials.
On site, the successful candidate will be responsible for quality control of materials and supervising construction. Some tasks include, but are not limited to: soil sampling through drilling and test pits, concrete sampling; compaction testing (nuclear density gauge), asphalt analysis.
In the laboratory, the successful candidate will perform geotechnical laboratory analyses in accordance with ASTM and BNQ standards. Some tests include, but are not limited to: particle size analysis, moisture content, Micro-Deval, Los Angeles abrasion, concrete compressive strength, density...






Draftsperson
Role and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the responsible engineers, your role will primarily be to ensure project follow-up and drafting. Some tasks include, but are not limited to: draft engineers' sketches according to company standards; prepare transmittal reports and copies of engineering documents for external clients; create tools to improve work techniques, as needed; modify existing drawings according to engineers' new requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is essential.
